As the President of the Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA), I am proud to announce that we will be organising the World Islamic Tourism Mart 2012 (WITM 2012) from May 31 - June 2,  2012 at the Putra World Trade Centre and Seri Pacific Hotel,Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

MATTA has a successful track record of organizing major international events like the MATTA Fairs, Asia International Tourism Expo (AITE), Malaysia Tourism Exchange (MTEX), InCoMTHU Conference, to name just a few. Our trade and consumer exhibitions (B2C) have drawn over 90,000 visitors on average while over 350 international and local delegates have participated in the Conference which had prominent International & Malaysian speakers including the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAbhg Tun Dr, Mahathir Mohamad.

WITM 2012 is definitely an event that is expected to grow in stature and one that travel and tour operators, tourism industry leaders and businessmen as well as government and private sectors simply cannot afford to miss not being a part of.
